Sauvie Island

On my last trip to Sauvie Island, there were three snowy mountains visible against the blue sky.  From where I set up my easel, I painted Mt. St. Helens, looking as usual like melting ice cream, in one direction, then turned around to view the marsh with herons and egrets, distant purple hills.  Came back with fresh strawberries and blueberries.  Ah!
