She did not start out as a portrait of Billie Holiday, but seemed to be listening to music from the start, could be a warm violin sonata from the classical station I usually have on in my studio, or something Latin, maybe Brazilian jazz. But she gradually reminded me of Billie, maybe she is listening to sultry blues, having romantic memories.
